The CMA have organized its 6th workshop which was entitled "Procedures of Nomination for Positions, and Registration of Positions Required to be Registered" as part of its awareness program. Participants included persons concerned with the issues of the securities' activities, and the CMA was represented by the Director of the Licensing and Registration Department, the Director of the Awareness Department, and a representative from the legal Affairs Sector. The workshop tackled two main aspects; the nomination mechanism for board of directors' members and registration mechanism for positions required to be registered. The speakers discussed the procedures of nomination for BOD membership at the licensed person starting from announcing it, then submitting the applications and studying them, and finally marking them in the CMA's register. The workshop also tackled the procedures of registering the positions that require registration which starts with specifying such positions and the procedures for their registration and study, in addition to the procedures of amending the data.
