CMA LAW: Circular No. (12) of 2018 Regarding the Prohibition of Using the Authority’s Official Name and Logo

Pursuant to Circular No. (8) of 2018 regarding the prohibition of using the official logo of the Authority issued on 29/5/2018, in order for the CMA to ensure compliance with Law No. 7 of 2010 Regarding the Establishment of the Capital Markets Authority and Regulating Securities Activities, its Executive Bylaws and their amendments, CMA draws the attention of all licensed persons to the importance of not using the official logo and name of the Authority or any means that would mislead the public that the Authority has a supervisory role, in any of the websites or social media channels or official publications or editorials or promotional and marketing means or any other documents written or electronic.
Therefore, it should be noted that by not complying with the provisions of this circular the violator will be exposed to disciplinary accountability according to the provisions of Law No. 7 of 2010 and its Executive Bylaws and their amendments.
