CMA LAW: Circular No. (09) of 2021 to All Persons Licensed by the Capital Markets Authority Regarding Compliance with the Reporting Requirements According to FATCA and CRS Agreements

In reference to the subject above and to Item “First” of Circular No. (04) of 2021 to All Persons Licensed by the Capital Markets Authority Regarding Compliance with the Reporting Requirements According to FATCA and CRS Agreements issued on March 3, 2021 and based on the regulations of the Ministry of Finance on this regard. The Capital Markets Authority (CMA) draws your attention to the extension of the reception period by the Ministry of Finance of FATCA reports for the year 2020 to be until August 31, 2021. It also emphasizes on the final date of receiving the Common Reporting Standard (CRS) reports stipulated in the mentioned circular (May 31, 2021) through the website of the Ministry of Finance: http://www.mof.gov.kw/FATCA.aspx.
