CMA LAW: CMA Resolution No. (8) of 2013 Regarding Removing an Auditor from the Concerned Register at the CMA

Having Perused:
- Law No. (7) of 2010 Regarding the Establishment of the Capital Markets Authority and Regulating Securities Activities, and its Executive Bylaws; and
- Decree Law No. (5) of 1981 on the practice of auditor’s profession and the amending laws thereof; and
- CMA Board of Commissioners Resolution No. (24) of 2012 on issuance of regulations of auditors registration in the concerned register at the CMA; and
- Resolution No. (2) of 2013 on registering auditors in the concerned register at the CMA issued on 15/5/2013; and
- The request of Mr. Jassim Ahmed Al-Fahad – Auditor at Deloitte Watch (Al-Fahad, Al-Wazzan & Co.) to remove its name from the auditors’ register at the CMA; and
- CMA Board of Commissioners Resolution No. (6) of 2013 on delegating some competences of Market Regulation Sector
The Following Was Resolved
Article (1)
The name of Mr. Jassim Ahmed Al-Fahad - Deloitte Watch (Al-Fahad, Al-Wazzan & Co.) is hereby removed from the concerned register at the CMA for auditors of companies subject to CMA supervision.
Article (2)
All concerned sectors’ heads and departments’ directors at the CMA shall execute this Resolution.
Article (3)
This Resolution shall be published in the Official Gazette, and it shall come into force from the date of issuance.
