CMA LAW: The Capital Markets Authority Announces Filing a Report with the Prosecutor General Regarding the Occurrence of Crime

The Capital Markets Authority announces filing a report with the Prosecutor General on 20/05/2026 regarding the occurrence of the crime stipulated in Article (64) of Law No. 7 of 2010 Regarding the Establishment of the Capital Markets Authority and Regulating Securities Activities, and amendments thereto, criminalized by the provision of Item (1) of Article (126) of the same Law, and the crime stipulated in Article (125) of the same Law. During the period from April 2022 to March 2024, the defendant practiced the activity of representative of licensed person without obtaining the necessary licenses from the CMA to practice this activity, thereby misleading the clients as to their true legal standing, contrary to the actual facts.
