CMA LAW: Resolution No. (30) of 2026 Regarding Terminating the Restriction of the Securities Activities License of Kuwait & Middle East Financial Investment Company (KMEFIC)

Having Perused:
- Law No. 7 of 2010 Regarding the Establishment of the Capital Markets Authority and Regulating Securities Activities, its Executive Bylaws, and amendments thereto, and
- Resolution No. (195) of 2025 Regarding the Restriction of the Securities Activities License of Kuwait & Middle East Financial Investment Company (KMEFIC); and
- Based on CMA Board of Commissioners Resolution passed in its meeting No. (9) of 2026; and
- Based on Kuwait & Middle East Financial Investment Company (KMEFIC) payment of the prescribed fee on 12/03/2026.
The Following Was Resolved:
Article (1)
The restriction of the license of the following securities activities of Kuwait & Middle East Financial Investment Company (KMEFIC) is hereby terminated:
- Securities Broker not Registered with an Exchange
- Investment Portfolio Manager.
- Collective Investment Scheme Manager.
- Custodian.
- Subscription Agent.
-Market Maker.
As the Company has addressed the reasons for restriction of the activities mentioned in Resolution No. (195) of 2025.
Article (2)
The concerned bodies shall execute this Resolution, each within its jurisdiction. This Resolution shall come into force as of 12/03/2026, and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
