CMA LAW: The Capital Markets Authority Announces Filing a Report with the Prosecutor General Regarding the Occurrence of Crime

The Capital Markets Authority announces filing a report with the Prosecutor General on 3/09/2025 regarding the occurrence of the crime stipulated in Item (2) of Article (63) of Law No. 7 of 2010 Regarding the Establishment of the Capital Markets Authority and Regulating Securities Activities, and amendments thereto, criminalized by the provision of Item (1) of Article (126) of the same Law, and the crime stipulated in Article (125) of the same Law. The defendant (Listed Company) practiced the activity of Investment Portfolio Manager without obtaining the necessary licenses from the CMA to practice this activity. It also claimed contrary to the truth that the CMA has taken an action that it did not actually take.
