CMA LAW: Resolution No. (102) of 2025 Regarding the Renewal of the Securities Activities License for Kuwait Clearing Company

Having Perused:
- Law No. 7 of 2010 Regarding the Establishment of the Capital Markets Authority and Regulating Securities Activities, its Executive Bylaws, and amendments thereto, and
- The securities activities license certificate for Kuwait Clearing Company No. (AP/2016/0016) issued on 04/07/2022, and
- The application of Kuwait Clearing Company to renew the securities activities license with the CMA, and
- Based on CMA Board of Commissioners Resolution passed in its meeting No. (16) of 2025 held on 03/06/2025; and

The Following Was Resolved:
Article (1)
The securities activities license of Kuwait Clearing Company with the CMA is hereby renewed for practicing the activities of a clearing agency to provide:
-Central Securities Depository.

-Settlement and Clearing.

for a period of three years, renewable after paying the prescribed fees, effective from 04/07/2025.

Article (2)
The concerned bodies shall execute this Resolution, each within its jurisdiction. This Resolution shall come into force from the date of its issuance, and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
