CMA LAW: Resolution No. (67) of 2023 Regarding Renewal of the Securities Activities License of Kuwait & Middle East Financial Investment Company

Having Perused:
- Law No. 7 of 2010 Regarding the Establishment of the Capital Markets Authority and Regulating Securities Activities and its Executive Bylaws, and their amendments; and
- The securities activities license certificate of Kuwait & Middle East Financial Investment Company No. (AP/2014/0003) issued on 01/09/2020; and
- The application submitted by Kuwait & Middle East Financial Investment Company to renew the securities activities license at the CMA; and
- Based on Resolution No. (24) of 2023 regarding amending the approval authorizations of the Supervision Sector’s procedures issued on 12/02/2023.
The Following Was Resolved
Article (1)
The securities activities license of Kuwait & Middle East Financial Investment Company at the CMA is hereby renewed for practicing the following activities:
1. Securities Broker not registered with an Exchange.
2. Investment Advisor.
3. Investment Portfolio Manager.
4. Collective Investment Scheme Manager.
The license is valid for three renewable years as of 01/09/2023.
Article (2)
The concerned bodies shall execute this Resolution, each within its jurisdiction. This Resolution shall come into force from the date of its issuance, and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
