Title: Circular No. (15) of 2022 Regarding Launching an Automated System for Receiving Daily Reports of the Transactions Data of Electronic Trading Accounts Executed in Boursa Kuwait Securities Exchange

Greetings,
As part of the Capital Markets Authority’s (CMA) pursuit to implement the provisions of Law No. 7 of 2010 Regarding the Establishment of the Capital Markets Authority and Regulating Securities Activities and its amendments, and as the CMA is taking all the necessary procedures that may detect suspicious crimes stipulated in this Law, in order to protect the persons dealing in securities activities, the CMA has developed and tested an automated system for receiving daily reports through the CMA Electronic Portal which provides it with the data of all the transactions and their digital identifier that are executed for the benefit of the electronic accounts.
Such launch comes after CMA’s introductory workshop held on 03/10/2022 for all the licensed persons that provide electronic trading service to introduce the new report system, its work mechanism, and the required data and reports, and the subsequent pilot launch of the automated system that was implemented on two periods, provided that such reports shall be submitted by all the licensed persons that provide electronic trading service in Boursa Kuwait Securities Exchange.
Accordingly, all the licensed persons that provide electronic trading service shall submit a daily repot at the end of the trading session which includes the details of all the transactions and their digital identifier that are executed in Boursa Kuwait Securities Exchange as of the end of the trading session of Sunday December 11, 2022.
We hope that all licensed persons that provide electronic trading service will adhere to the instructions mentioned in this circular.
