Title: Resolution No. (138) of 2022 Regarding Approval on the Appointment of a Liquidator and Cancellation of Securities Activities License of Greenstone Kuwait Investment Consultancy Company

Having Perused:
- Law No. 7 of 2010 Regarding the Establishment of the Capital Markets Authority and Regulating Securities Activities and its Executive Bylaws and their amendments; and
- The application submitted by Greenstone Kuwait Investment Consultancy Company for the approval of appointing a liquidator and cancelling all securities activities and removing its name from the licensed persons register at the CMA; and
- CMA Board of Commissioners Resolution No. 2-21 passed in its meeting held on 01/06/2022; and
- Based on Resolution No. (48) of 2022 regarding amending the approval authorizations of the Supervision Sector’s procedures issued on 03/04/2022.
The Following Was Resolved
Article (1)
Mr. Mohammed Hamad Sulaiman Al-Sultan is hereby assigned as liquidator for Greenstone Kuwait Investment Consultancy Company. The liquidator shall not proceed with the works thereof unless the approval of the company’s general assembly is granted, and the procedures related to liquidation are completed.
Article (2)
The license granted to Greenstone Kuwait Investment Consultancy Company to practice the activity of Investment Advisor is hereby cancelled, and it shall be removed from the licensed persons register at the CMA after fulfilling of the criteria and requirements required by the CMA.
Article (3)
The Company shall fulfill all the legal obligations pursuant to Law No. 7 of 2010 Regarding the Establishment of the Capital Markets Authority and Regulating Securities Activities and its Executive Bylaws, and their amendments, for the period prior to the enforcement of this Resolution.
Article (3)
The concerned bodies shall execute this Resolution, each within its jurisdiction. This Resolution shall come into force from the date of its issuance, and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
