Title: Public Invitation for the Awareness Event on Indices and Passive Investment

As part of CMA mandate to spread awareness in the aspects related to investment and capital markets development, we cordially invite you to attend our event on “Indices and Passive Investing”, which will be held on the 29th of April 2019 from 10:30 am to 12:15 pm at the JW Marriott Hotel (Al-Thuraya Hall).
This event will shed light on the importance of market indices, as well as the recent trends in passive investing and its impact on the stock market.
The topic stems its importance from the recent wave of index upgrade events. Kuwait is now at the center of index inclusions, being recently upgraded by FTSE Russell and S&P Dow Jones to emerging status, and included on the watch list for the MSCI emerging index.
Speakers at this event will include experts from S&P Dow Jones, specialists in index-related topics and country index inclusions from EFG Hermes, in addition to representatives from Boursa Kuwait handling the development initiatives.
