Announcement Regarding the Selection Process of Recent Graduates for CMA’s Fourth Training Program of 2017/2018
Kuwait, November 27, 2017 – The CMA has announced organizing its fourth training program for recent graduates on October 8, 2017. And in line with CMA’s policy of transparency in the selection process, we would like to display the most important figures as follows:
- Received Applications: 93 applications
(within the specified period from October 8 to 19, 2017)
- Complete Applications qualifying for interviews: 50 applications
- Applicants who attended the interview-42
- Applicants who didn’t attend the interview – 8
- Rejected Applications: 43 applications
Rejection Reasons were as follows:
1. GPA less than 3.00: 12 applications
2. IELTS – TOEFL IBT degree less than required: 15 applications
3. Not meeting the total number of graduation years’ requirement and age: 11 applications
4. Not meeting the language requirement: 1 application
5. Not submitting the language test result: 4 application
Accordingly, the CMA formed an interview committee constituting from Heads of Sectors. Then it invited the applicants who met the preliminary requirements to the interview. The interviews took place on November 15 and 19, 2017.
Therefore, the selected applicants were the top 20 on the list and passed the interview according to the Training Section plan. The program will commence on December 3, 2017.
