Title: Invitation to Participate in the Opinion Poll of the Draft Provisions Regulating the Procedures of Delivering the Clients’ Funds and Assets in the Event of Cancelling the License of the Licensed Person
Based on the certainty of the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) of the importance of the active participation, coordination, and continuous connection to achieve the strategic objectives as well as CMA’s continuous efforts represented by developing the efficiency of the legislative infrastructure of the financial markets through conducting the necessary continuous updates in order to promote the regulatory frameworks that support all the public dealing with securities.
The CMA would like to invite you to participate in the opinion poll of the draft amendments of some provisions of the Executive Bylaws in order to develop the supervisory provisions that regulate the procedures of delivering the clients’ funds and assets in the event of cancelling the license of the licensed person. It also invites you to view the suggested amendments on Module Five (Securities Activities and Registered Persons) and Module Seven (Clients’ Funds and Clients’ Assets) of the Executive Bylaws Law No. (7) of 2010 Regarding the Establishment of the Capital Markets Authority and Regulating Securities Activities and their amendments.
