CMA LAW: The Capital Markets Authority Announces Filing a Report with the Prosecutor General Regarding the Occurrence of a Crime

The Capital Markets Authority (CMA) announces filing a report with the Prosecutor General on 27/12/2023 regarding the occurrence of the crime stipulated in Item (1) of Article (126), and Article (125) of Law No. 7 of 2010 Regarding the Establishment of the Capital Markets Authority and Regulating Securities Activities and its amendments. The defendant promoted through road advertisements during the month of June 2023 and on its website, that it offers several securities activities to its clients, which fall within the activity of an investment portfolio manager, a collective investment scheme manger, and a securities broker not registered in the Exchange without obtaining the necessary licenses from the CMA according to Items No. (1,4,5) of Article (63) of the aforementioned law.
