Title: The Capital Markets Authority Announces Reporting the Occurrence of a Crime to the Capital Market Prosecution

The Capital Markets Authority announces reporting to the Capital Market Prosecution on 16/11/2022 occurrence of the crime stipulated in Article (125) of Law No. 7 of 2010 Regarding the Establishment of the Capital Markets Authority and Regulating Securities Activities and its amendments, and Item (5) of Article (21) of Law No. (3) of 2006 Concerning Press & Publication, criminalized by the provision of Article (6) of Law No. (63) of 2015 Regarding Combating Cyber Crimes. The defendant published a tweet claiming, contrary to the truth, that the CMA took some actions that it actually did not, which would weaken confidence in the State's economic condition.
