CMA LAW: Resolution No. (88) of 2022 Regarding Replacement of the Liquidator of Burgan Equity Fund (under liquidation)

Having Perused:
- Law No. (7) of 2010 Regarding the Establishment of the Capital Markets Authority and Regulating Securities Activities and its Executive Bylaws and their amendments; and
- The request of Mr. Ali Owaid Rukhais Awad (Al- Waha Auditing Office) to replace the current liquidator of the Fund with Mr. Ali Abdulrahman Ibrahim Al-Hasawi (Rödl Middle East – Burgan International Accountants) as liquidator for Burgan Equity Fund (under liquidation); and
- The Resolution of the Unit Holders Assembly of Burgan Equity Fund (under liquidation) held on 20/04/2022; and
- Based on Resolution No. (48) of 2022 regarding amending the authorizations for the Supervision Sector’s procedures issued on 03/04/2022.
The Following Was Resolved
Article (1)
Mr. Ali Owaid Rukhais Awad (Al- Waha Auditing Office) - liquidator of Burgan Equity Fund (under liquidation) is hereby replaced, and Mr. Ali Abdulrahman Ibrahim Al-Hasawi (Rödl Middle East Office – Burgan International Accountants) is hereby appointed as liquidator for Burgan Equity Fund (under liquidation)
Article (2)
The concerned bodies shall execute this Resolution, each within its jurisdiction. This Resolution shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
