CMA LAW: Resolution No. (85) of 2022 Regarding Cancelling the Registration of Mr. Abdullatif Ahmad Abdullah AlAhmad from the Register of Auditors

Having Perused: 

- Law No. (7) of 2010 Regarding the Establishment of the Capital Markets Authority and Regulating Securities Activities and its Executive Bylaws, and their amendments; and 

- The registration certificate of Mr. Abdullatif Ahmad Abdullah AlAhmad No. (EA/2013/0030) issued on 24/05/2019; and

- Based on CMA Board of Commissioners Resolution passed in its meeting No. (17) of 2022 held on 27/04/2022 and 28/04/2022.

The Following Was Resolved

Article (1)

The registration of the auditor Mr. Abdullatif Ahmad Abdullah AlAhmad, is hereby cancelled from the register of auditors at the CMA.

Article (2)

Mr. Abdullatif Ahmad Abdullah AlAhmad shall end all his auditing tasks that he is providing to the persons licensed by the CMA and the companies listed in the Securities Exchange.

Article (3)

Mr. Abdullatif Ahmad Abdullah AlAhmad shall complete and end all his pending tasks of reviewing and auditing the financial statements of the persons licensed by the CMA and the companies listed in the Securities Exchange that were assigned to him before the issuance of this Resolution, until their annual ordinary general assembly is held so that they can appoint another auditor from the register of auditors registered at the CMA.

Article (4)

Mr. Abdullatif Ahmad Abdullah AlAhmad shall meet all the legal obligations established by Law No. (7) of 2010 Regarding the Establishment of the Capital Markets Authority and Regulating Securities Activities and its Executive Bylaws, and their amendments for the period prior to the enforcement of this Resolution.

Article (5)

The concerned bodies shall execute this Resolution, each within its jurisdiction. This Resolution shall come into force from the date of its issuance, and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
