Title: Circular No. (01) of 2021 Regarding Auditors Report on the Actual Results of Licensed Persons Compliance of Capital Adequacy Regulations

Dear Auditor,


With reference to Article (2-3) of Module Seventeen (Capital Adequacy Regulations for Licensed Persons) of the Executive Bylaws of law No. (7) of 2010 on the Establishment of the Capital Markets Authority and Regulating Securities Activity and their amendments, which states the following:

“Licensed  persons  are  required  to  report  their  capital  adequacy  in  light  of  these 

guidelines on a quarterly basis at consolidated level, and shall be required to submit

the report and its templates to CMA within forty five days of the end of the financial

reporting period of the report, where it has to also be reviewed by a registered auditor 

registered  within CMA for the periodical (quarterly) reports, and audited for the annual



The Capital Markets Authority (CMA) draws the attention of the auditors registered with it to the importance of using the attached form when preparing the report on the actual results of licensed person’s compliance of capital adequacy regulations, in accordance with the international standard on related services tasks, which is applied on the agreed upon procedures, upon the approval of the Capital Adequacy Regulations report for licensed persons.
