The Capital Markets Authority organized its first awareness lecture at Kuwait International Law School, "The Legal Regulation of the Capital Markets Authority", which was delivered by Dr. Tareq Al Adasani, Director of Litigation & Arbitration Department and Dr. Ibrahim Al Thuwaini, Director of Investigation Department. Dr. Al Adasani talked about the establishment of the Authority, its objectives and its legal nature. In the second part of the lecture, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Thuwaini discussed the scope of application of Law No. 7 of 2010 and its amendments and the obligations of the licensed person and persons subject to the provisions of the Law, in addition to the administrative investigation of violations and crimes.
