Title: Capital Markets Authority Announces Reporting Suspected Crime to the Capital Markets Prosecution

The Capital Markets Authority announces reporting to the Capital Market Prosecution on 14/11/2021 the suspicious occurrence of the crime stipulated in Item No. (3) of Article (126) and Item No. (3) of Article (127) of Law No. 7 of 2010 regarding the Establishment of the Capital Markets Authority and Regulating Securities Activities and its amendments. The defendant, chairman of the Board of Directors (a company listed in the Securities Exchange), obstructed the CMA’s supervisory work by:
1. Not providing the CMA with the required documents.
2. Providing the CMA with contradictory statements.
